Christian Formation for Children
We welcome all children, beginning in 4K, into our Christian Formation programming. Christian Formation is a wonderful way to introduce your child to the principles of Catholicism and Christianity, and is a necessary component in order to receive sacraments.
Christian Formation classes for 4K & 5K are offered on Sundays from 8:15-9:15am. Classes for 1st-5th grade are offered on Sundays from 9:30-10:30 am and Tuesdays from 6-7pm. Classes held from September through April. Our 2017-18 calendar will be out soon!
News from Vacation Bible School
Thursday night we will have our annual VBS Ice Cream Social with a wonderful concert featuring our VBS music. Yesterday, your child brought home their own copy of the VBS CD. If they would like to practice the motions to each song, the links below will play a video of each song.
Monday: Today we had lots of fun learning about the many ways that God created each of us to be special, making our own robots, decorating our own cupcakes, playing games with balloons, learning new songs and even making our own slime! If you want to try this experiment out at home, here is the recipe.
Break Open the Word
Children age 3 through 5th grade are invited to join us for an age-appropriate presentation of the Liturgy of the Word . Families begins Mass together and the children are called forward after the opening prayer. BOW uses readings from the Children’s Lectionary, which is simplified to be more understandable, and includes conversation and related activities to engage the children with the Gospel message.
BOW will be held during the Sunday 8:15 and 10:30 masses this summer on the following dates:
June 4, 11, 18, 25
August 13, 20, 27
All children are welcome and no registration is needed!

First Reconciliation is celebrated in the fall and First Eucharist is celebrated in the spring. There is a sacramental fee of $55 which covers the cost of textbooks & other materials as well as the two retreats.
