Human Dignity

”I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink…” (Jesus, Matthew 25:35)

”Human personhood must be respected with a reverence that is religious. When we deal with each other, we should do so with the sense of awe that arises in the presence of something holy and sacred. For that is what human beings are: we are created in the image of God (Gn 1:27).” (US Bishops, Economic Justice for All)

Human dignity and respect for life from conception to natural death is the foundation of the Social Teaching of our Church. If we see the face of God in every person, how will we live differently?

Minor Website Change

Due to the popularity of the Media Archive Section of the website and the volume of audio and video files beyond the original creation we have renamed the “Audio Liturgy of the Word” section to simply “Audio & Video”

It’s the same information and the same section with just a new link name on the website. Please continue to enjoy all the audio and video files!

Updated Website

As you may have noticed we’ve updated our website a little bit.

You’ll find all of the same information and features from the old site and few new ones. We tried not to change too much from the old site so you would still be able to find the information you are looking for. If there is anything you can’t find on web site please let us know.

You can email us at info@stjames-parish.net.
